Saturday, September 28, Day 81 This morning dawned with lots of fluffy clouds in the sky and a lull in the wind. I looked at the calendar and realized that our friends Don and D were going on a trip a week from Monday. Wow in only ONE week! So if we wanted to see […]
I started out the day washing two loads of clothes while Phil cleaned the side decks and cockpit on Changes. I had my iPad with me and checked the weather, as we often do daily before a passage and it looked like it had changed to be SW on Friday instead of continued E or […]
Tuesday, August 13. Day 37 We woke to fog in our anchorage so thick that we could only see the three boats close to us. Good thing that we weren’t planning on going anywhere, but not good as Lorraine won’t be able to go crabbing. As the morning went on, the rain came and went […]

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are ok after the thunderstorms came through, tied up at the dock and safe. Hope everyone is ok too.
Phil woke Lorraine this morning about 640am and we cast off from the dock 656am, ahead of schedule. It started off warm and we reached our first lock just after it opened at 801am in Macedon. It has the unfortunate reputation for the walls being the worse in the canal. We don’t have any more […]
